Get to know Wheel Marketplace Operations Associate, Rachel Boles!
What’s your role at Wheel?
As the Marketplace Operations Associate, I manage all schedules here at Wheel.
What’s your background? What did you do before working with Wheel?
I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 2020 with a degree in Political Science and History with a French minor. I started my professional career here at Wheel.
I'm a native Austinite, but I love to travel abroad! I also love to cook, bake, and rock climb.
Why did you join the Wheel team?
I joined Wheel in December of 2020. I was drawn to Wheel by its unique and exciting business model, and the impact the company can have on healthcare.
A typical day at Wheel usually involves building schedules and ensuring we have full coverage across all of our healthcare clients. I respond to support tickets so I love getting to interact with clinicians every day.
What’s your recent Wheel Moment of Reward?
I love my coworkers the most here at Wheel — everyone is extremely smart, fun to work with, and passionate about improving healthcare.
We get to solve some of the toughest problems every day and have a significant impact on what telehealth will look like in the future. I love to hear that clinicians enjoy working with Wheel, and some have even left their brick and mortar clinic positions to practice telehealth full-time.
What do you think the future of healthcare holds?
Of course, the expansion and widespread adoption of telehealth excites me the most about the future of healthcare! The industry is at a turning point, and there is a great opportunity to equalize access to quality medical care through virtual visits.
Thanks, Rachel, for all your hard work with The Wheel Team! We appreciate everything you do.
